nly a few short months after
the end of a critically acclaimed tour with the “Sessions Band” Bruce Springsteen reminded his fans that he ... and the legendary “E Street
Band” still have a little “Magic” left. As the tour began to crisscross the U.S. and jump across the pond to European dates, it was
clear that the band had “rediscovered” some of their older material. Old favorites like Incident on 57th Street,
and Kitty’s Back, once viewed as rarities appeared more often in set lists. A reworked Reason
to Believe had to be heard to be believed.
At the end of the first leg of the tour it was announced that keyboardist, Danny Federici would not continue on the tour as he underwent treatments
for melanoma. Sadly, after coming back for one more performance in Indianapolis on March 20, he lost his battle with cancer.
